Bobbys Road To Recovery

On Wednesday the 28th of August 2019, at approximately 9pm, Bobby Hediger was traveling on his street bike with his friend Matt Marler on Missouri Highway W, by Rockford Beach Park. Bobby was following Matt when he slowed down to make a turn into the park. As a result, Bobby collided into the back of Matt, throwing him off of his street bike. Bobby was later airlifted to the hospital and has suffered the following injuries: brain damage with internal bleeding, a fracture on both sides of his skull, fractures on his face a broken collar bone, broken ribs, a collapsed lung, and extreme road rash. He is currently heavily sedated in the ICU at Mercy Hospital, on Ballas Rd. This horrific accident has been a devastating experience for his parents, Paula Muck and Bob Hediger, and his sister, Brittany Hediger; and also for all of the friends and relatives of Bobby as well. What makes this horrible accident more upsetting is that Bobbys’ girlfriend, Brittany Marler, is set to give birth to their daughter on September 11th, 2019. Sadly, Bobby will not be able to attend the birth of his daughter due to the fact that his own time for recovery is still unknown. This unbearable pain has caused a tremendous amount of financial burden onto the loved ones of Bobby, and it continues to increase with every day that he spends in the ICU. We are asking anyone who is capable of helping Bobbys family in this time of crisis, to please make a small donation.
