Pedro Mountain Victim’s Fund
Donation protected
I’m sure many of you have seen on the news and on social media the horrible fire that has spread out in the Pedro Mountains (around 20 miles from Alcova lake.) As of today it’s reported to be around 20,000 acres and still very active. The information even for land owners is very scarce as we have been told at least four structures have been lost if not seven. The biggest frustration is the lack of communication as we are unsure what is going on with our land and or cabin/homes at this time. At this point the least I am able to do is start a fund for those victims who have lost so much if not everything.
I do want those who donate to know that I did reach out to multiple organizations to make this a legit fund so that myself and my family were not in charge of the money donated. Unfortunately those who I reached out to either refused to help me or would not return my phone calls. I will update all that donate where their money goes, as I do want to ensure everyone that this will go to the cause they donate to and the victims that need it the most. I do plan to distribute the funds equally and EVENLY among those who have lost a structure. Thank you everyone who has been so supportive through this trying time. We truly appreciate it.
