Help with Legal fees from Columbus Statue Arrest

 

This is the OFFICIAL fundraiser for our cousin and brother Shervandaze B. Smith, who was taken into custody over the weekend. Though we are his cousins, Vandaze was like a brother to my sisters Arona and Desiree and I, as we were raisied in the same home after we lost our mom Renia to breast cancer. We understand the importance of family, and when one of us is hurting, we all hurt, so it is for that reason, we, his cousins and his sisters Jasmine and Savannah have organized this as a means of standing in the gap for our brother and cousin.

 

Vandaze is known as one of the comedians in a family of joksters, but he is particularly fond of pranking his niece and nephew. Indeed he is loved and cherished by all, so while his actions were against the law, we are all aware of the mental and emotional burdes hes been carrying these past few years. 

 

I am impressed with his commitment to his  faith in God, and how its has deepened. We have listened as professed that it is God that is orchestrating his steps. What we do know, is that he needs as much help as he can get right now and his lawyers believe bail will be set high, as to make a statement. Given that the statue was on government property, he may be facing multiple charges which will be discussed in court on Tuesday. Sadly, we will likely be unable to cover all the costs.
