Hello friends, I’m raising money for my beautiful best friend Jessica Long. She is more like a sister to me. We were just 5 years old when we met. We have experienced so many good times and bad times over the years. From kids, to young adults, to having kids, and losing loved ones. As long as we have each other we know we can get through any situation. Well until this... Last March Jessica got the devastating news. Jessica has a very aggressive rare case of breast cancer. She noticed the lump in January 2019 and had her first surgery in April. She just turned 39 years old. After the surgery she started feeling better. She was ready to kick cancer’s butt! She had her first chemotherapy treatment. This wasn’t anything she could have prepared for. He body reacted so badly she ended up spending 5 days in the hospital. After a few weeks and a second chemo treatment the lump came back. Yes, the cancer came back. So quickly and unexpected considering she was going though chemotherapy. Jessica had a second surgery to remove the cancer. Hopefully for good!! She has a long road ahead of her. Jessica has 12 more months of treatment. Everything she’s been though in the last 6 months she is still fighting strong. Not just for herself, but for her baby girl Layla. Layla is 5 years old and just started kindergarten. Layla is full of life and love. She is Jessica’s entire world. Layla has been spending lots of time with her Daddy and Aunt Kathryn. They are taking such wonderful care of her.
