Help an 8th Grader Play Her Tuba in Carnegie Hall
Donation protected
Hello!
My name is Aria, I'm an 8th grader, and I play the tuba. This year, I was by my band teacher to play in the Honors Performance Series, which is a highly selective band performance that takes place inside the legendary Carnegie Hall in New York City. After submitting my audition, I found out I was selected as one of only less than 350 performers nationwide by the HPS committee!
The Honors Performance Series brings together exceptional student performers from around the world. Selected performers like myself have the opportunity to study under master conductors, work with other elite musicians, and perform at Carnegie Hall in addition to spending several days together in New York City. Here are some of the exciting activities that are planned:
• Perform in the exclusive Honors Performance at Carnegie Hall on 16 June 2023, under the direction of world-renowned conductors
• Work with master conductors and build a performing resume
• Rehearse and interact with performers from across the world
• Experience cultural highlights, see famous sites, and experience the excitement of New York City
To take part in this opportunity, I need to raise $7,500 to ensure myself and my family can attend this once-in-a-lifetime event. Please help me by sponsoring a portion of my trip. Any contribution you could make would bring me that much closer to this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Please reach out if you have any questions or want to hear more about this great learning opportunity. You can learn more about the program by visiting the website at www.honorsperformance.org.
Thank you for your time!!!
Sincerely,
Aria P.
