Emergency Surgery & recovery

This is Alex Pappas, Kim's son. As you may already know my mom went in to the hospital on 1-4 and was diagnosed with pneumonia in her left lung & a build up of sepsis fluid in her right lung. It was a very scary situation & they performed surgery on the 5th. They were able to remove the fluid & place tubes in her lung to drain any excess. Her lungs slowly became more functional but her kidneys took a couple of days to kick back in. Thankfully & with much prayer & because of my mom's amazing strength & determination, everything began working!!! I cannot begin to tell you how much I admire & love my mom. She works extra hours & shifts & always helps friends in need. My mom is one of the kindest most loving people I know. She is home now but on oxygen & still has a long way to go before she can get back to work. Payinf rent, bills & new medical & therapy expenses is almost impossible with no pay. We would be so grateful for any help you may be able to give at this time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being such wonderful friends to my mom. She is truly blessed & so am I.  Love, Alex
