Detective George Moreno is a 28 year veteran of the NYPD. He was a 9/11 First Responder and spent countless hours working during recovery operations. George has been recently diagnosed with Colon Cancer, and additional cancerous masses have been located on other parts of his body. George’s wife delivered their 5th child three weeks prior to his diagnosis. Funds are required ASAP in order to help defray the large costs associated with treatment co-pays, accommodations prior to, during, and after treatment, and the cost of maintaining the family’s day to day expenses. Because of radiation treatments and continuous scans, large periods of time must be spent away from the new born child and other immune-compromised family members.
