P’s Best Friend

Hi, my name is Peyton Nufer and I’m a NHS senior at Fenwick High School and the goalie on the varsity water polo team. Three years ago, my family was blessed with this animal. He’s been an amazing companion to everyone in my family but ever since the day we got him it was obvious that I was his person. My dog, Hemi (Rottweiler), is like my best friend in the entire world. No matter what is going on, I can always count on him to come make me laugh or climb into bed and cuddle with me. Everyone who knows him absolutely adores his sweet, playful, and loving spirit. Recently, he tore his ACL and needs a $1900 surgery rather quickly or else he will damage his meniscus. Originally we thought $4000, but we found a vet willing to do a different surgery for a lower price. Unfortunately, money is pretty tight and my family will still really struggle to pay for all of his medical bills this quickly. Please consider helping my best friend get the medical attention he needs, anything will help.
