In Loving Memory Of Brayden Patrick Hood

On August 11th, Erin (Thero) Murphy's son, Brayden Patrick Hood of Troy Missouri, was involved in a tragic car accident with 4 other school friends. He was immediately air-lifted to Children's Hospital where sadly he passed away in the early morning of August 12th. The injuries were heartbreakingly too great for his body to recover. Brayden, only 16, was a fun loving boy who loved music, singing, and performing in any way. He loved his friends and family dearly. Brayden was actively involved in show choir at Troy Buchanan High School, starting his freshman year on both JV and Varsity teams. This year, Brayden would have began his Junior year and his third year on Varsity. Brayden won many competitions with his Show Choir squad, who were like a 2nd family to him. He was looking forward to future travel for competitions with his mother, Erin, who was SO proud of him. Erin worked actively in the Show Choir's Parent Booster Club to support his dedication and interest in singing and performing. A friend to many, he wore his heart on his sleeve and had manners that made his family proud. Brayden will forever be missed.
