My name is Bekkah, and I was diagnosed with Ductal Breast cancer with the tumours ranging in sizes of 3mm - 9mm in both breasts and I’ll be undergoing surgery at the end of this month for a double mastectomy. During the past month and a half since we’ve found out, I spiralled into depression and had to have my husband (Johnny) take quite a bit of time off from work to stay with me because I wasn’t able to care for our 2 year old daughter on my own (Scarlett). With him taking so much time off, it ended up being without paying, and we got so behind on bills in such a short time frame that we are working on a yard sale at the end of this month, but we are now almost 2 months behind on our mortgage (which is too close to comfort for a foreclosure). I stopped working during this time because of everything going on, and with how sick I’ve been with already existing medical issues on top of the pain in my breasts. We’re doing everything we can to stay on top of things, and I’ve started to work a little again just to try to make ends meet, but we still aren’t making it. It’s hard for us to have to ask, but we need help at this time. Especially with my surgery coming up, we don’t want to have a hole to get out of that may possibly get bigger during my recovery depending on how it goes. My recovery time frame on top of this will be 4-6 weeks where I won’t even be able to care for myself. Anything helps, thank you so much for the love and support as well as prayers. ♥️
