Family of 5 loses everything in building fire

Hi my name Valerie Perez my family and I came home to our building on fire and mostly everything in my apt damaged
I am a single mom of 4 children 2 of which are my own and 2 are my foster children who have been with me since birth.
My children lost a lot of things including clothes electronics and etc, we are very blessed to be safe and sound at the moment but we are currently residing at the community center in Yonkers
Unfortunately, I was told that I cannot get any assistance since I am not on section 8 or any other services that would help me find emergency funds quickly.
I absolutely don’t know what to do at this point I’m just trying to take it all in at the moment I would greatly appreciate any help.
My hope is to gather enough funds to secure a new apartment and replace as much clothing and items for my kids for the school year.
