The Esther Padilla Project

Have you heard of Esther Padilla, a trailblazing Latina from Fresno County? The late Esther Padilla was the FIRST Latina elected to the Fresno City Council. Councilwoman Padilla served as Mayor Pro-Tempore and advocated for infrastructure improvements, affordable housing, improved transportation, and the creation of after school programs; project to which she donated part of her salary to begin. Esther Padilla was a trailblazing Latina and a true public servant! We are starting this project and asking for your contribution to create a documentary that highlights her life’s accomplishments and commitment to her community.
