Hello Family and friends,On the evening of Tuesday,August 6 , Our beloved James, known as Poppyseed to family and close friends , suffered an accident in which he fell of his skateboard going down a hill. The impact of the fall caused to his skull to fracture,He’s also gone under a few procedures to avoid swelling on his brain.Due to the surgery Poppy has been put under sedation since Tuesday Night. The wonderful team in the ICU has been great monitoring him.Due to the swelling on his brain he had to undergo brain surgery,(08/11/19)It will take time for the swelling to subside,but after this they plan to slowly take him out of his sedated state.The medical care Poppy has received and will be receiving in the coming weeks and months will incur heavy costs. Some of these expenses include hospital stays, brain surgery procedures, CT scans , rehabilitations , physical therapy and medications. There will most likely be more costs incurred throughout the coming weeks and months.
