Mercedes Salgado was a dedicated Mother, Mother-In-law, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, a woman of God and a hard worker. She was strong and persistent, moving to the States from her war-torn homeland of Nicaragua in the 1980s. She raised five boys to adulthood as a single mother. She worked at the same Home Depot for over 30 years. Her Store Manager called her the "CEO", as she was one of the first faces to greet every customer who walked through the doors. Two and a half weeks ago she was admitted to the hospital with symptoms of Covid-19. She lost her battle with the virus on July 30, 2020. Your contribution will go directly to her home going service. It was her wish to be cremated and the family wishes to honor her last request with a service and viewing, with cremation to follow. Any gift is greatly appreciated! Thank you.
