Camdens Recovery

Hi I’m Kayla, mother of 4 month old Camden J. Mitchell. Recently at an ordinary GI doctors appointment, we had discovered that my son’s breathing just wasn’t right. It seemed he was gasping, using all his might. Explaining his lack of weight gain... He was burning tons of calories just trying to breathe. Needless to say, for obvious reasons, we were rushed down to the children’s E.R for a quick X-ray of his chest. Little did we know, the poor breathing was being caused by his enlarged heart. What!!!! ? Words can’t explain how traumatic it was to find out that what seemed like Asthma, turned out to be a huge heart issue. We are now in Boston with hopes that this hospital can help turn Camden’s life around for the better. Whether it be, open heart surgery or a transplant.
Seeing we are so far from home, Camden’s father was advised to quit his job and stay here at the hospital with Camden and me. For comfort and safety reasons.We are now setting up this campaign in hopes that you can help us too ❤️ This has been put in place for future formula, diapers, clothes, appointments, and who knows, maybe even baby food.
