My nephew Jeremy Cruz was shot early Thursday morning . He was shot by his best friend ex boyfriend due to jealousy. According to the doctors he’s paralyzed but my nephew is a fighter and a survivor and with the faith of god I know he will walk within time . He’s now in a rehabilitation center for therapy and support . No one saw this coming. The shooter fled the crime scene and two days later was taken into custody. Thanks to the Lodi Police, the guy is now in custody; charged with attempted murder, unlawful possession of a gun, and the possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. Jeremy graduated Lodi High School this year (2019), and was supposed to start his first year as a college student a few days after he was shot. Due to his injury, he will now start January of 2020.
