My partner Renee is being rushed in for emergency surgery in Sydney. She is having Suboccipital Craniectomy and a Patch Graft for her Chiari Malformation and Syrinx decompression. We have recently found out that it has grown rather rapidly which can cause quadriplegia if she doesn’t have the surgery done. Unfortunately as it is in such a short time period we don’t have the money to pay for the surgery and we need your help. The specialists themselves is going to cost $6000, then we have the MRI which is another $800 and also the anaesthetists will apparently have additional fees which we have been told are $3150 and only 30% is covered by health care.
Plus travel,accommodation for me and her mum, medication and any excess fees.
