3 Year Old Heart Warrior
Donation protected
Hello, This post is for Noah Ocampo. He is a 3 year old boy in San Diego, CA who has gone through so much in his lifetime. He has been so strong and great to the family. Recently he has been going through a much harder time than normal. On July 5th 2019, Noah was uncomfortable, extremely irritable, and low on oxygen. The Ocampo family took Noah to the Emergency Room. The Cardiologist admitted Noah to the Cardiac ICU at 12:00 am on the 6th. Noah needed oxygen and was blue in color. The doctors had to put Noah on CPAP 100% and was on it for a few days. After checking Noah's Nuerological state, the EEG, CT scan, and Nuerological check, which took several days, they found out that Noah was 100% in Acute Heart Failure. He was rolling, moaning, and very fatigued. They started IV medication Milrinone and put him on INO for his respiratory support. Noah was comfortable after about 8 hours. They drew labs to check Noah's BNP levels, which checks for heart failure, and it was 1500 (Normal level is 100). After being on Milrinone for several days, his levels dropped to 1100 and then after a week 400. They are now trying to wean Noah off the Milrinone and move him to Enalopril, but they have to do it slowly. He was on 0.5 of Milrinone and got down to .2, but Noah is now having episodes where he has a hard time breathing and his lips and tongue turn blue. This means they have to increase his oxygen and slow down on the weaning of medication process. Doctors at this point are unaware what balance of medication is going to work best for Noah. They have to go by how he clinically looks and numbers, since Noah is not verbal. We are asking for help for medical bills, medications, any medical equipment Noah may need, and doctor's visits (whenever Noah gets discharged, they will be once a week). Noah's mother (Penni) and father (Jesus) have missed many days of work, staying at the hospital with Noah in critical condition, for the last 21 days. Please help Noah, Penni, and Jesus through this time. We all thank you so very much for your support, prayers, and help. God has certainly got Noah through so much already and has done great things through him. Thank you again! God Bless!
