Hello, my name is Josh Hurley and I have started this campaign to raise money for my sister-in-law Heather.  Heather started dating my older brother Mike when I was 12 years old and it didn't take long for her to become part of the family.  She is genuinely the sweetest person I know with an incredibly kind heart.  She is an incredible mother and wife and our family is better because she is part of it.  I love Heather and Mike and have started this campaign to do what I can to help them during this very difficult time.  Heather was diagnosed with adrenal cancer in April of 2014 and over the next 5 years Heather had 2 surgeries and numerous rounds of chemotherapy.  Unfortunately the cancer returned again last winter and local doctors recommended that Heather and Mike go to Ann Arbor Michigan to meet with a group of specialists.  The initial part of the plan laid out by the specialists  involved several more rounds of chemo in an effort to stop the growth of the tumors.  I am happy to report that the plan has been successful enough to move to the next phase of the treatment plan that will require Heather to have surgery.  The surgery will take place at the beginning of September in Ann Arbor and require her (and Mike) to stay there for at least 3 weeks for recovery and Heather will likely not be able to work until after the 1st of the year. 

When the cancer returned in last winter we partnered with many of you to raise money to help the go to Michigan as well as supplement Heathers wages while she was out of work receiving treatments.   I am asking again that you partner with us to help support Heather and Mike during this difficult time.   As you can imagine there will be a lot expenses related to the next phase of treatment and we are asking for you help.  We have set a goal of $15,000 to help with the 3 week trip to Ann Arbor as well as subsequent expenses related to Heather being out of work for an extended time period.  As you can see we don't have a lot of time before they are scheduled to be in Ann Arbor so please share this campaign as often as possible so we can meet this goal.
