Vanessa received shocking news one month ago when she was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer. She will begin an aggressive 20 week course of chemotherapy next week followed by mastectomy and radiation treatment.

The road ahead is sure to be long and trying for Vanessa and the Simpson family. We are starting this campaign on their behalf so that we can help alleviate as much financial worry as possible. We want them to be able to focus on getting Vanessa healthy and focus on being together as a family. With the extent of her treatment plan, medical expenses will be many. It’s also possible that she may need to miss extended periods of work. We would also like for them to be able to get help with meals, housekeeping, and babysitting so Andy can accompany her to her medical appointments.
