Pesach--A 9/11 Paramedic/Survivor-- Needs Help
Donation protected
Pesach (Phillip) Kirschner was a paramedic at the scene the day the Twin Towers fell. Like so many of these heroes who put their lives on the line that tragic day, Pesach was left with a chronic and debilitating lung disease as a result of breathing the thick toxic fumes.
Pesach has a horrible lung disease called Pulmonary Hypertension. Even though Pesach belongs to the World Trade Center Health Program, he has to fight for every last thing that he needs. It is hard for sick people to fight. They are very sick and being sick is enough in itself. It is a big job to fight and navigate through all the bureaucracy just to get the equipment and medicines that you need.
I have watched Pesach struggle for the last few years and It is really sad for a person to have to pay such a hard price for no other reason than being a hero and putting their life on the line to save other lives.
I am hoping that the Jewish community and fellow Americans will help.
