Help Sarah Replace Stolen Equipment!

I'm Blue, aka "Jack," a podcaster and retail worker living in Columbus, Ohio. I first met Sarah in class at Ohio State back in 2016; after that, we shared several activist spaces together; it's been a privilege to witness Sarah's activism in my local community over the years.
Sarah now resides in New Orleans, LA, and is a graphic designer, DJ and producer. Some of you reading this probably already know about the theft of Sarah’s electronics from their car on July 17th, including a MacBook Pro, DDJ-RR (DJ controller), and an Ableton Push 2 (production hardware), all of which they bought with funds saved over the duration of years. Sarah’s journal, sketchbook, external hard drive (with digital back-ups of all his music and design work) and spare iPhone 6 were stolen too, along with a plethora of other less-valuable items. This amounts to around $3000 dollars worth of damage, not including the wages Sarah will lose; design work is their main source of income, and she can't work without this equipment for the time being (though he's currently pursuing other means of accessing the software). They also lost a lot of nearly-finished commissions that would've given them funds to cover rent and other living expenses, so the amount above also reflects what's estimated to cover these expenses as the pay for their commissions may very well be delayed.
This happens at a very inopportune time, as Sarah is going on tour for shows in the coming weeks without their 10,000-song music library and all their music software and hardware. They also lost a 16-song EP that they'd been working tirelessly to release, along with countless other songs and mixes. Last week, Sarah had their savings depleted from wallet theft, so he's really facing a financial hellstorm on top of losing a great deal of years' worth of creative work and countless photos of loved ones—things that have irreplaceable sentimental value.
Sarah filed a police report and is pursuing every avenue to locate their items and the thief/thieves. They have already locked their MacBook and the iPhone through iCloud. If any or all of the items are found, Sarah will refund the amount of the item or items to those who donated. Please refer here for updates.

All money raised on this platform will go toward replacing all the stolen equipment, making up for Sarah's lost employment opportunities, helping with living expenses, and covering any unexpected fees. I (Blue aka "Jack") have already set Sarah as this campaign's sole beneficiary; all funds raised will go straight to her bank account.
