The event was a tremendous success! It took a lot of hard work and sacrifice, but I can say without reservation that it was well worth it. Canterbury High School sits at the center of a community that all of us on the committee are proud to be a part of. We are deeply grateful to those that were able to be there with us and for your continued support.
As you know, we were short volunteer labor both before and during the day of the event. Less widely known is that our payment terminals on-site were rendered unusable by a technical problem that could not be immediately fixed. As a result, we were not able to collect donations or fees from attendees that had not registered in advance. We were only just barely able to sell drink tickets and merchandise, and only as of the middle of the afternoon.
This campaign is our way of recovering funds we were prevented from collecting on-site, as we have been left short of what we need to fully cover the cost of the event.

FAQs
How will the funds raised by this campaign be used?
Our fundraising goal includes what's left of what we owe for the event plus a buffer to cover the expense of running the campaign - supplies (wine, picture frames), gas, mileage, printing, etc.
Any funds that we have leftover once the campaign is finished will be donated to the school to support the Arts Canterbury program.
I've made my donation. What's next?
Gifts will be hand-delivered to your home by one of our volunteers within two weeks of the campaign closing on Friday, November 8th. Once your donation is made, you will automatically receive a follow-up email from us to confirm your address and contact information.
What if I don't live in Ottawa? Can you send my gift in the mail?
Unfortunately, we are not licensed to send wine through the mail. However, we have a volunteer that is willing to do a weekend of deliveries to places other than Ottawa within a six-hour radius of Toronto.
