5 Brain Surgeries Later, Family Needs Help

Hello Family, Friends and everyone . We are the Lancelotti Family . My name is Chris Lancelotti , my wife is Silje , and we have 3 kids , Kai , Kaedin & Gianna , one dog Athena , and two cats Rocket and TJ. We are asking for your help once again to get through this . Since Oct. 2018 , I Have had 5 Brain Surgeries , 4 abdominal surgeries , 2 Brain bleeds , 7 or more Lumbar Punctures , 3 Brain Taps , 2 Seizure incidents , at least 8 or more hospital admissions , 3 ambulance transports and Multiple ER visits . And enough radiation to last 10 lifetimes. We are asking for some financial help/relief. I have not been able to work a day since this all started . As you may know , I worked in EMS 911 (Emergency Medical Services ) in Alameda County, Ca. For Almost 15 years , before being injured on the job and having to leave beginning of 2018. It has been a ruff road financially since October 2018. We did have a Go Fund Me back in November 2018 and received help from our Church , Church on the Hill (SJ) , when we found out I needed a second surgery and raised enough money to keep us going through feb /march 2019 And we thought I would be back to work by the latest March 2019. All healed up . Here we are now mid July 2019 and my 5th Brain surgery was only a month ago in June , 4 months past when we thought I would be good . My wife has been working non-stop to help keep us afloat , and we have received some financial help from our family . I got my last set of staples out last week , but need a CT scan in August and my neurosurgeon is putting me out of commission for 3 months , and that is everything goes right . Our bills keep stacking up , medical bills that are overdue , prescriptions costs , house payment is already late this month , food , PGandE . Well you get the picture , our family of 5 is trying to survive on my wife’s income . God bless her , sometimes working 7 days in the week . We were prepared for the initially surgery in October , then the second one kind of threw us for a loop , but then the third, fourth and fifth ? I don’t know how anyone could be prepared for what we went through , and it still may not be over . I probably should have started a Go Fund Me a few months ago when things took a turn for the worse , but I was in the hospital so much and was so sick , you kind of can’t think about finances , just “God help me get through this “ . Also I think being the provider of the household for so long , it’s hard to ask for financial help , makes you feel worthless , and depressed that you cannot contribute .
