Katie's stem cell transplant fund

Gotta say, it feels weird to be diagnosed with a rare form of T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (or "ALL")!  I was diagnosed in late March 2019 and will be undergoing stem cell transplant treatment in late summer. This approach is very intensive and requires several months of recovery. The up side of the transplant is that it has the potential to cure the disease! (Ask me more about it you want details...!)

I have started this fund to help pay for costs associated with my treatment and a fun birthday blowout I'm hosting in July PRIOR TO my stem cell transplant. Your donation will help offset party costs as well as housing expenses while I'm going through stem cell treatment, which requires that I stay in housing near the clinic in Seattle for several months during recovery.

Anything additional funds raised that we don't use for those purposes will be donated to the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance earmarked for their stem cell and hematology research. My company, Expedia Group, will also match any donations I make to these organizations. :)
