Some of you may know our golf course mascot Gino. Gino is a 105 lb labradoodle that has been with us since he was a pup. He’s a very loving and gentle dog. If you’ve visited our golf shop you were probably greeted by Gino right at the door. He truly brings happiness to our clubhouse. Couple of weeks back we started noticing Gino walking with a limp and not being his usual energetic self. We consulted with a veterinarian and he gave us the unfortunate news that Gino needs CCL surgery on his right knee. We have been devastated with this news. We’ve since have gotten 2nd opinions by several other vets and they all concur, surgery is the only way to alleviate his pain and to not compromise the other knee. The surgical procedure is approximately $6000. We are asking our friends of Desert Dunes for your help, anything and everything is greatly appreciated.
