This post is one I have been reluctant to make ,because it still doesn’t feel real to me . I know everyone is concerned, so here it goes The injuries Michael Holbrook sustained from the gun shot through his neck are irreversible and surgery cannot repair them . The bullet went through his C4&C5 crumbling his vertebrae , and nearly severing his spinal cord , leaving him quadriplegic. He will never walk again , and is unable to move his arms , but Michael is a fighter !! . He’s able to move from the shoulders up .Mentally Michael is still Michael , somehow he manages to smile at me and mouth the words I love you and thank you to all those that have been here and all of you that remain to support his recovery.

Michael Holbrook is a prior service marine tanker with a heart a gold and recently got shot resulting in damage to his spinal cord. His wife Michelle and two step daughters Hailey(22) and Haven(10) were in Texas preparing to send the oldest daughter off on her deployment when Michael was shot. Please help the Holbrook family raise money for medical bills and other expenses. We are so grateful and blessed for all the love and support our family and friends has given us. While Michael is on this long road to recovery we appreciate any bit of help we can get. Thank you so much for everything y’all do.
