Jonathan Evelliard #21

Jonathan is a gentle soul! He is kind hearted and caring of his family, friends, and loved ones. His easy going temperament is a calming force. It’s not unusual to see Jonathan laughing with his friends on and off the court. On the basketball court, he is tenacious and always seems to pop up in the right spot getting key rebounds and hustling on the floor. Jonathan has just been given a scary diagnosis of leukaemia, at the young age of 13. Though he is brave in fighting this, it has and will take a huge physical and mental toll on him. He is very close to his mother, the sole provider for their family. His mother has made the decision to leave her career aside to be with Jonathan full-time. The financial impact of this is significant which can add to their family stress during a time that is already so enormously difficult.
