Help Me Help Roscoe

Hello family and friends - this is totally embarrassing for me to admit but I need your help. I’ve created this GoFundMe as a way to help bare the cost of my buddy Roscoe. As I’ve shared on FaceBook, Roscoe was hit by a car yesterday and is in rough shape. Unfortunately the treatment plan with him keeps changing the further into this we get and bills are piling up. Again, I hate to ask for you to help me with my dog but I am left with little choice. The backstory: Yesterday, June 17 at 12:30pm I was in my driveway grilling and tidying up. Noah, my five year old and Theo, my three year old came out to talk with me. Once done, they ran back into the yard via a gate. The gate was left open and despite me seeing the open gate, I failed to close it. While cleaning up I heard a dog barking from a cross the road. I honestly thought nothing of it as this was never a trigger for Roscoe. I first heard him running towards the open gate and then I saw him. I yelled for him to stop and headed towards the road following him. In a matter of seconds I saw the SUV, moments later I heard his yelp. I was on site of him being pushed by the SUV. Once free of the vehicle, he ran and sat on my neighbors stoop. Thus far we’ve accumulated roughly $2,000 in vet bills from just his initial appointment. Now, as we wait and more information becomes available we know he will need a $1,800 CT scan followed by jaw repair surgery estimated at $4,000. You all have zero reason to help, and if no help comes that’s OK - Caitlin and I WILL be okay so please don’t worry. I will not judge. I only ask that you do not think less of me for asking for assistance this way. Lastly - the Steelers will win the Super Bowl this year.
