My name is Alex Mallett, and at 17 years old I weighed 489lbs. I started hating my quality of life to the point of being sad all the time, I was tired of feeling like people were treating me differently because of my weight and the stares and comments from people in public really wasn't helping me any. I decided I was willing to do almost anything, and turn my negative emotions in motivation to get healthy and live a productive happy life. My weight loss journey started May 2016 and since then I have lost 280lbs+. Every aspect of my life has improved exponentially, I have many friends, I'm able to go out and walk anywhere I want and have started a career in the culinary industry! The only thing that sucks is all this extra skin(here's where you come in). I'm looking for donations because my government hates me and won't cover skin removal. I don't want to ask for money but I also would really like to take my shirt off at the beach, y'know. My goal is $50 000, but anything helps.
