On Tuesday June 11, my sweet beautiful mother was taking a shower. She was just sitting in her shower chair and suffered a massive stroke. The doctors explaind that its the equivalent to passing in your sleep. Her aid and very good friend was there making her lunch and came to check on her and found her just sitting peacefully in her chair. She pulled her out and gave her CPR which probably got enough oxygen to her brain to keep her alive long enough for her to be able Donate 3 of her organs and save 3 lives. So as I sit here and write this, 3 people, and 3 families are in surgery having their lives changed forever. That's such a beautiful and amazing thing which I find wonderful peace in. However, I lost my mommy. I lost the love of my life, I lost my favorite human, my most favorite soul, my best friend, my number one fan, and my most treasured and respected person in this whole world. She was more than loved to say the least. Everybody tells you how wonderful their loved ones were but I want to make crystal clear that this was such a very special and unique person that the words in the English language do not fully justify what it is I'm trying to explain. I love her so deeply dearly. I miss her so much. I will have a very difficult time moving forward through this world without my Mom. Only child, single Parent love is pretty strong and powerful stuff..... Prior to her passing she, about a year ago became completely disabled. It started when her neck begin to sever at the upper spine and required emergency decompression surgery to fuse the area. 14 screws and 2 rods. Within 6 months of that very awful and unbearably painful procedure she had her knee completely replaced which was very painful in its own right. It's been a very tough and trying time for both of us. She's been losing her home and struggling to pay all of her bills for years now. Becoming disabled and losing your income is a tough combination. I've been doing my best to support and help but ultimately her social security is her only income. Her situation has Left Behind quite a burden for me and I'm reaching out to any friends,family and loved ones who may have been touched by this to see if anyone can help. If you would like to donate and help with funeral costs, end of life costs, it would be more than appriciated....All I want to say is when you go home to your family and your loved ones don't think that what happened to Bonnie and Eric was unique because it is just our turn to go through this. Everybody will have their own turn so make sure that the time you spend is so unbelievably valuable. I love you all and God-bless you and thank you.
