Dear beloved old and new friends and family,
I have been having many health issues over the years and am asking for your support in getting a doctor recommended intensive health treatment called panchakarma in India at Amma’s hospital and Ayurveda clinic. In the past 5 years I have been in the hospital dozens of times for many reasons listed below and keep growing new cysts and am a surgery risk for death. Any amount of support would be of great benefit and forever appreciated.
In the last 5 years, I have grown a pineal brain cyst, 3 large ovarian cysts requiring hospitalization, one requiring emergency surgery, one in February of surgery size that luckily resolved itself hemoraging into my into my internal organs and currently have a cyst on the tendons of my left hand I use to play violin. My hand surgeon told me if I have surgery on my left hand there is a large possibility I will lose all or most function of my left hand and never be able to play violin again. I have played for 28 years and recovered from crushing it completely in half when I was just 14, while caught in a conveyor belt for 1.5 hours. The 3 intensive surgeries needed for my hand produced many new health issues. The NSAIDs prescribed caused me to have bleeding ulcers by the age of 17. Decades of digestion issues have resulted in my colon getting as thin as a pencil line in places. 5 years ago, I had to have emergency surgery to remove an ovarian cyst larger than a grapefruit that had twisted 180 degrees and left me on disability for two months. It took 3 anesthetists and an assistant anesthetists to intubate me. After lots of testing it was determined that I have allergic asthma and am a huge surgery risk for death. This now makes the thought of having surgery on my left hand even more scary because I do not just face loosing use of it, but also face a large possibility of death.
Costs for Medical Treatment:
$700/month for food and Rent x 6 =$4,200
Roundtrip airfare to India $1,500
Panchakarma including meals, medication, and hospitalization if needed $2,708
Putting stuff in storage for 6 months $900
Indian Visa, Bed, bedding, fan, organization stuff for room etc. $700
Total Amount needed $10,008
As soon as I have enough money for a ticket and the treatment I will fly to India. This past school year I taught 4th grade at a San Francisco School District's public school in the inner city and taught violin lessons. Unfortunately, teachers do not get paid well in our society and I live in one of the most expensive areas in the world. I also had to take off work due to illness from hospitalization this spring and the fires in the fall. This is where I ask for your help, love and support. It would be such an honor to receive support in any amount from any and all of you beautiful people. With your generous support I will receive this needed medical treatment.
