“When Churchill was asked to cut arts funding in favour of the war effort, he simply replied, ‘Then what are we fighting for?’” Artists feed our soul. We need them or life is bleak. They light sparks in our souls through music, painting, photography and so much more. These momentary sparks string together through our lives and carry us through the dark days and let us soar through the joyous ones. Unfortunately these occupations don’t come with health insurance, vacation, paid sick leave, or disability. Our friend Eddie is a talented musician, painter and photographer as many of you know. He brings joy to many. He is selfless with his time and energy. He is a compassionate soul. Eddie is experiencing some severe spinal issues that are preventing him from doing anything including work for the next few months and he could use a little help while he is treated and heals. If you could spare a few dollars to help pay his rent, food and phone bills, just the necessities, he would be very grateful. We need to take care of our artists. Thanks in advance!!!
