Marc's fund raising campaign
Donation protected
Marc has recently been diagnosed with a benign brain tumor that is affecting his ability to smell and could potentially impact his vision as well. Marc will undergo a very long and intensive brain surgery at UConn in July, where he will be in recovery for several months. He will have to take a leave of absence from work during his recovery and will be out for a minimum of 2 months. Additionally, he will have to return to UConn for many years for follow-up MRIs, scans and endless appointments.
Anyone that knows Marc would say that he is one the funniest, kindest and most generous and loyal people they know. He can fill a room with laughter in seconds and make light of any dark situation. He is the first person to drop everything and help anyone in need. Marc is a hardworking foreman at GDS, a family-owned reputable construction company. He will also always give his extra time on nights and weekends to help family and friends with home remodeling projects and any other “handiwork” that they may need, no questions asked. Marc and Rachel have two beautiful boys, Kayden and Dalton, that mean the world to them. Marc is such an amazing father, son, brother, friend and co-worker to everyone around him and deserves all the support in the world.
Please take a minute to help Marc and his family during this difficult time. No matter how big or small, any amount would be immensely helpful during his time of need. Marc does not receive disability insurance and has a very high deductible insurance plan. Your donation will help to pay for medical bills, meals, gas, and the many other expenses that will come up over the next several months. Please keep Marc and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for your support!
