Liz & Sean Ohio Tornado Recovery
Donation protected
We never thought it would happen to us, but it did. We lived through a tornado. The Ohio tornadoes hit on the night of Memorial Day. It was sudden and unexpected, and we didn’t even hear any local sirens. We huddled in the bathroom and escaped with our lives, but now we have to start rebuilding our life. The tornado severely damaged many buildings in our apartment complex, and it’s set to be condemned in a matter of days or even hours. We were lucky, but there’s water damage to some of our possessions and we need to leave those and a number of other things behind due to time and physical constraints. Once the building is condemned, we won’t be allowed back in. It’s... a lot. All of this is a lot. And asking for help like this is an extreme measure. We have a place to crash for the immediate future, but we will need to find a permanent place quickly. The expenses are scary, and any help would be appreciated.Thank you all. We are grateful that you’ve taken the time to read this, and for anything you’re willing to spare to assist us.
