On May 10th 2019 our lives were forever changed. Christopher “Boomer” O’Guin was at work like any other normal day when the unthinkable happened. He was involved in a work related accident. He was rushed to Vanderbilt Trauma Unit where he was placed on life support fighting for his life.
For 6 days his doctors tried everything they could and unfortunately his injuries were to sever. On May 16th 2019, 3 days before his 36th birthday and 2 days before his son’s 2nd birthday, Boomer passed on from this life and went to be with our Lord in Heaven. I am now here trying to make sense of everything with our 4 children Harmony, Shelby, Wynter & Connor.
Unfortunately his life insurance had not yet kicked in through work, and there is a workers comp case but I have no idea how long this will drag out. Social security will take 60 days to go into effect and the first available appoint is July 16th. With 4 children and being a stay at home mom I am struggling far worse than I could have ever imagined.
I am simply asking for whatever you may be able to help with. If you’re not able to help financially, I ask that you please share or simply pray that we are able to keep afloat until everything starts to kick in. I am doing my absolute best to be there for our children and provide for them best I can. I am at the mercy of everyone reading this.
