Broken Jaw Surgery from Assault

I was assaulted by a man that I didn’t know on Sunday night of this week. He punched me in the face and broke my jaw in two different places. I was rushed to the ER in an ambulance and the police are trying to locate the man. I have lost feeling in part of my bottom lip and chin due to nerve damage and the fracture on the side of my face is completely broken and is being held together by muscle. It’s costs about $1450 for surgery with my insurance and I can’t pay to get it done. I am in a lot of pain and on a lot of narcotic medication. I am only 21 years old and could have permanent damage to my jaw for the rest of my life, the longer the surgery waits the worse the pain is and the likelihood of me healing properly goes down. I’m reaching out for help because this is a very traumatic experience for me and I am unable to have surgery without your help. Anything will help! I am also looking into other financial help but I haven’t had my luck with anything. I am also out of work and I support myself. I do not qualify for temporary disability through my job because I have been employed through them for less than a year. I need surgery to heal and to get back on my feet, to feel and look normal again. My face is very swollen and hasn’t went down. Please if you have questions reach out.

The amount changed because the hospital called me and said both hospital fees and surgical fees must be paid before I get surgery. About $1,450 for one and $1,250 for the other.
