Dear Friends,
Amber Horn was involved in an accident on May 10 resulting in 4 surgeries, including the amputation of half of her left foot. After a successful amputation and skin graft she spent several days in the ICU before returning to a regular hospital room. After 20 days in the hospital Amber returned home on May 30. A ramp was built this week to enable wheelchair access in and out of her mother's home and arrangements are being made to ensure an environment that will support her recovery to the fullest. Amber is a resilient young woman who is facing this unexpected trauma with the bravest attitude.
There is a long road of recovery ahead for Amber and her family, which will include countless unexpected expenses. The Horn Family are blessed to have a community of friends and family to support them during this very challenging time. A small group of friends have decided to form a Go Fund Me to ensure that financial stress does not become a burden during this time. It is critical that Amy, Amber, and their family are able to put their energy into recovery. All funds raised through this site will be for them to use at their discretion.
