His Legacy...

Let me start by asking a question... Can you put a price on a child's life? If you like me you would agree that a child's life is priceless, would you not? Yet somebody decided that the worth of a child's life was that a four pennies! Because of this atrocity, over 9000 children spread their wings every year. Why? Because of a hideous monster named pediatric cancer. Many years ago I was blessed to meet the family that had two of the most beautiful children I had ever seen... Aiden and Sophia Farinella. Sophia walked into my world barefoot and full of personality! Aiden was quite reserved. Within the 15-minute conversation, I had with their mother I had learned that Sophia was a cancer patient... Fast forward to the age where Sophia was 5. That's the age Sophia spread her wings. Not many years after that her brother Aiden was diagnosed with brain cancer. Now I don't know about you but trying to wrap my brain around saying goodbye to one child is inconceivable! But today the Farinella's said goodbye to a second child. Aiden did not lose his battle against cancer. In fact, he won it because now he is cancer free!!! Nick, Aiden's amazing dad was the only one able to work as his mother Carrie didn't leave Aiden's side... but the world didn't stop living or spinning because of this... that being said bills have piled up and everyday living expenses have definitely been difficult to meet.
