Austria Mission Trip

Dear Reader,Recently, God has put it on our hearts to spread the gospel in Austria. This summer, two of my friends and I will be going to Salzburg, Austria, to serve at a soccer clinic, which will be for the Austrian youth as well as Syrian refugees. You may be aware the crisis in Syria over the past few years. The civil unrest has caused thousands of people to leave all they have to find safety and refuge in other countries, particularly those in Europe. As in America, cultural tensions between the country’s citizens and refugees have caused a divide. Through the soccer clinic, with the gospel at the heart of what we’re doing, we hope to bring unity to these people through the love of Christ. Before the clinic, we will be assisting in the current ministry by visiting refugee camps, and praying throughout the city of Salzburg. We’ve left time open for Holy Spirit to lead us into whatever other ministries He wills. At the clinic, our group, as well as teams from Egypt and Germany, will be training the youth in the sport of soccer. It’s geared to increase their skills and knowledge of the game. Thank you so much.Pray Requests:-That we would be filled with the Holy Spirit, led and empowered by Him to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout Salzburg, to the glory of God-that the Lord would soften the hearts of the people of Salzburg and open their eyes to believe on the Lord Jesus-that through the acceptance of God’s love, the refugees and Austrians would grow in love for one another-that God would also humble us to submit to His will, and labor diligently for Him, only by His grace and for His glory-the soccer facility and the ministry that takes place there
