Mike's Heart Transplant Recovery

Since birth Mike has had to live with the uncertainty of his heart. Although it seemed he had a heart of gold to share with all of us, unfortunately, it was failing him. Thankfully on Thursday, May 16th, he got word they had a heart to give him. The transplant was a success and gives him the chance to live life to the fullest. As we can all imagine this is not by far the end of the struggle. Mike and Lauren had just  bought a house and welcomed their little angel Brooke, into the world in February. Lauren has just finished her maternity leave and cannot afford to take off more time. Mike is on a long road to recovery. We are reaching out to family friends or anyone who  could chip in to help  Mike, Lauren & Brooke in any way possible. How awesome would it be if Mike and Lauren were able to focus on recovery and raising their beautiful daughter rather than spending all their time and energy on figuring out how they can make ends meet. Any little bit will make a huge Difference in Mike's recovery and their happiness as a family.
