Assalam o alaikum wa rahmatulahi wa barakatuh.
May the peace and mercy of Allah be with you.

Tonight, I'm asking everyone I know to help me get my husband out of our really difficult situation. As we speak he is in hospital and in need of stents for the heart. I’m shattered as I saw my husband melting in front on my eyes for the last 5 years, This isn’t easy for me but I thought I would share some of our story. Alhamdulillah we had our nikah in 2012 when I accepted Islam but ever since, things got really tough for us.
My husband is still waiting to become an Australian citizen.
Unfortunately he is now extremely sick and he needs treatment as soon as possible. Having basic health treatment is a human right, but not for my husband... as not being an Australian citizen has made this financially and emotionally unbearable. He has had two heart attacks, numerous heart and kidney failures, now is almost fully blind due to diabetes and last year when he was admitted in hospital we were told he needs a bypass to fix the 4 blockages in his heart. He will also require intensive treatment in the effort to regain his eyesight.
Without Medicare it is extremely difficult to receive medical treatment as well as purchase the large list of medication he has been prescribed. We have a almost 5 year old son that has become so emotionally troubled by these circumstances. We do whatever we can to hide the hardship from him but he feels it and it is reflected in his day to day behaviour. Over the past few years, we have sold so many of our belongings, only ever purchased the nescessary things to allow us to survive day to day. My husbands health is everything to our little family. I still have hope and I haven’t given up even though there have been many days and nights that I have wanted to. There were nights when I was just waking up in the middle of the night to check if he’s breathing Alhamdulillah.
I am grateful to Allah for everything He has given us. Today I wanted to share our story as we are now in need of the help of our community. Anything at this point will help us, we need your help. We have no relatives or family in Australia. You, my ummah, are our family.
Please share this message and if you can, ask around for people that could give zakat with the intention to change my husbands condition. As soon as we are able to obtain Medicare for him, he will finally receive proper medical attention. We have been bombarded by debt collectors for the medical bills that continue piling up. The pressure and the added stress this has on my husbands condition is the hardest thing to watch. May Allah forgive me, I would never ask if we were not in need.

The money raised in the past by our community, went directly to the medical care of my husband, I find myself in this same situation, years on. We need help now! He needs Medicare now!! Imagine your loved one chronically ill and not receiving any treatment... what would you do??? You will ask for help the way I am now! Please help! Allah has never left me alone and he will never will! He made you read my thoughts now so you can spend for His sake!
JazakAllah khairan
Please forgive all my shortcomings and the fact that I dare to ask for help.
Your donation will be going to a small family in need of anything you are willing to donate.
