Stanford Law and Trial Summer Intensive

As a student, I have always excelled academically. I started my education at two and a half years old, and have always been intrigued by math and reading in particular. I attended private pre-schools up until kindergarten when I began public school. I remained in public school until I was a freshman, when I then decided, along with my family, I wanted to do self-instruction beginning my sophomore year. We made this decision because I felt as though I was not being challenged enough, even with my honors courses. I began my sophomore year online in the middle of my summer break, and since then I have set myself up to graduate nearly two years early while maintaining a 3.9 GPA. Additionally, I have been involved in sports since second grade, and I danced for 9 years, as well as being a high school and competitive cheerleader for an additional three years.

I have always been intrigued by our law and system. As time evolves we are faced with the challenges of a system that is often unfair and unjust. I aspire to be a leader and stand up for what is right. As a result of hard work, discipline and dedication to my education, scoring high on my ACT’s, I received an invitation to attend a 10-day intensive law & trial program at Stanford Law in July. Due to current family circumstances & the short notice to deliver the tuition fee, I am working hard to raise the money to attend.
