This past weekend, our lives took a turn in a direction that we didn’t see coming, as many of you know. My sweet Selah Lee was diagnosed with leukemia. One minute he was a healthy, wild, two and a half year old boy, and the next he was being life flighted to Chicago. We’ve all heard about how quickly life can change, but I didn’t realize how much until that day. As of right now, we are still waiting on a treatment plan which will be our roadmap on this journey. I am standing in complete faith that my son will be healed in the name of Jesus. While He does His part, I will need to continue to do my part, and that is where I must ask for help. As a single mom of two (Ruby 11.5 and Selah 2.5) and a small business owner, this road will surely not be easy, but with the emotional, physical, spiritual, and of course, financial help from my support group, I foresee being able to stay with Selah during this season of life. As a business owner with no employees, my income will immediately stop when I take this temporary leave from work. I am unsure of what lies ahead, and therefore I am also unsure of how much help I will need. The number I’m currently asking for should be able to cover transportation, meals, and bills, both home and business for a bit of time. I believe that if you’re still reading this, you have continued to do so because you are invested in seeing Selah get better. Whether your gift is well wishes, happy thoughts, positive vibes, or my personal favorite, prayers, I appreciate you, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you are feeling called to do more, your gift will not go unappreciated. It will allow me the ability to stay with Selah while maintaining to preserve a normal life for my daughter,Ruby, at home. Feeling the support from the last few days is absolutely overwhelming. I know that Selah has been lifted before the Throne, and I know He has heard our prayers. I will most likely start a blog soon, and I look forward to including you in on this journey. Your faith in me has given me unmeasurable strength. Love you all! Thanks for supporting, “Selah the SuperHero”!
