Cerebral Palsy Stemcell Surgery
Donation protected
Please read the latest update as that is where our situation is now.
Alex is my 21 month old son and he has been diagnosed with cp, colobomas and hip dysplasia. Alex has never crawled and has never walked, Alex’s legs are so tight he can’t straighten them out, his left hip is dislocated and his right is on the way to dislocation. Alex is a rare case as his hip bones are shaped like saucers and he will be going for 2 Major surgery’s in September and October on his hips they don’t normally do this surgery until children are 4-8 years old. He will be in a cast for 3 months and he will need lots of Physio therapy. There is also almost a 100% chance his hip will dislocate again in the future. We have discovered stem cell surgery can give Alex a better quality of life and has an 80% success rate, unfortunately it isn’t offered in Canada. We are trying to raise money to travel to Panama City in the United States to get Alex this surgery. Their is no other cure known to man yet and the younger Alex is the more successful the surgery will be. Alex isn’t even 2 yet and has gone through so much in his short life, thank you for reading this, if you could share and donate that would be amazing.. you could play a huge part in this little man walking someday. If even 4,500 people donate 10$ we can give this man the surgery of a life time.
