Helping Josh

Donation protected
Josh was diagnosed with Pancreatitis last July 2018 and was taken to Froedtert in Milwaukee, WI. We were told that Josh had a slim chance of survival. He spent 6 weeks in ICU and 2 weeks after in a regular hospital room. He had to learn all the basics of everyday life all over again. He was then sent home with hopes life would return to normal. In November, Josh felt something growing between his rib cage. He found out it was a bone that grew into a 12 x 8 inch piece that literally stabbed him when he bent over. In early March of 2019, he went back to Froedtert to have it removed. During the surgery, his small intestine broke open a tiny hole, called a Fistula. Back in and out of Froedtert for the months of March, April and May. No food for 6 months so the Fistula can heal. Taken twice by ambulance because of weakness and low blood pressure, Josh’s amazing physical and mental strength has carried him through this nightmare. Insurance has covered about 80% of his massive hospital bill. His job is now gone and his future is undetermined with hospital stays. Josh had gotten engaged shortly before all of this to a wonderful lady (Kalia)who has willing stayed by his side throughout all this. If you’d like to send directly to Josh, his address is 4735 N. 72nd St. Milwaukee 53218. Gift cards are also wonderful for Kalia so she can grab a bite to eat (Cousin Subs), gas cards and grocery gift cards (Pick n Save).
