Funeral Expenses For My Mother

My name is Amanda Morrison, and I am trying to raise money for my mother's Funeral Expenses. My mother Debbie Morrison Garner McMasters was first diagnosed with Non small cell lung cancer in 2016. Which is now stage 4 and she is terminal. After her diagnosis , she had surgery to have a portion of her lung removed. Thereafter she started chemo, and did 2 full rounds , then she underwent half a round of immunotherapy, that ended up being a medical procedure that did more harm than good. The cancer was still growing more and more. And the chemo as well as the immunotherapy ended up making her quality of life plummet, rather than to improve it. In November my mother's doctor released her from his care to begin being cared for my hospice, seeing as there were no further options on thier end, and her pain and cancer were getting worse by the day. She has now been on Hospice care for around 6 months , and was able to manage her pain and discomfort pretty well until around 2 weeks ago. She gradually started experiencing more pain, that the pain medications never fully eliminated. On a pain scale from 1 to 10, she maintained a 6 on that scale most days. However the past 2 days, her pain has been a 10 out of 10. Her state of mind , pain, quality of life and overall health , and the effects of the cancer on her already frail body , have all deteriorated drastically. She has lost all control of her bladder and bowel functions. She has lost the desire to eat most days, and her weight continues to plummet . We were informed today by hospice care that my mother is in the transitioning stage, and she has most all of the signs, showing that she is heading towards end of life. So with that being said, I am here , to ask for your help. My parents, nor I or the rest of our family simply can not afford a funeral. They barely make it day to day as it stands now. My mother is on disability, and my father is unable to work himself, therefore we are reaching out in hopes that the community might come together and be able to help us raise the funds for the funeral she deserves to honor her , and the life of an amazing woman who has fought so hard.
