Still DREAMING! Still DANCING!

I will be a senior next year and this is my last summer to train before high school graduation. Yes, high school graduation is next year! Which means fall and winter of my senior year I will be auditioning for college and companies! That’s like 6-8 months away! Training is paramount! I have received lots of invitations to some amazing opportunities this summer. I have also found some opportunities that I think would better prepare me for this final step and propel me to getting into great collegiate programs. I am revising the GoFund Me option because as an independent dancer I do not have a home studio that organizes fundraising like a competition team or competitive sports team. I am on my own. I do have a part time job. But with obligations of school and dance, I can’t work a lot of hours. I feel compelled to help my family! My parents and siblings sacrifice so much for me and my dreams of being a professional dancer. The struggle, the sacrifice of my parents is real. I will never be able to repay them.I am doing great in school too by the way. Honor Roll in honors courses. I am my Class President and feel positive that with a strong dance audition I can get in to great dance programs. But I want to do more than get in. I want to secure scholarships!My mom says GoGundMe Campaigns have gotten excessive and people think they are obnoxious. And maybe that’s true and if it’s not your thing, you can scroll by. But if you don’t mind them and feel inspired to make a donation, I will be grateful and continue to work hard! I will post updates too on my progress and my journey. To those who have supported by donating, or attending a performance or just asking about me and my dancing, it truly means a lot to me. You see me and that touches me.With no school I can train around the clock in the summer!!! I have several programs I want to attend that have very rigorous training. (Georgia, Los Angeles and New York) I also want private lessons to really work on my weaknesses and there are some college scholarship opportunities I want to travel to in NYC. These auditions actually give financial scholarships you can apply to any dance program of your choice. Not just to other conventions. Deadlines are in May for some of these and so securing funds NOW is a must!I appreciate any and all support!
