Kris May And His Long Recovery From Peru

Dear family, friends, and supporters,We are Kris May's friends and family, who set out this evening to support and rescue our dearest friend, son, brother, co-worker,.....Kris is in great need of any ounce of support he can get. Kris left the United States recently to work as a cinematographer on a TV show that captures the efforts of people helping communities in greater need. A genuine humanitarian project. Once they wrapped production, Kris left to begin a hiking trip in the Machu Picchu area, for some much needed decompression. Those who know Kris, know that he has struggled severely with the recent passing of his mother. To get to the point, Kris took an enormous fall during his trip, estimated at 70 meters. Tragically, that fall took him as close to death as he’s ever been. What we know so far is this: - Broken extremities - Broken ribs (one, or more, of which is requiring surgery to alleviate further lung damage) - Damage to his lower cervical spine - Cerebral Edema - Possible spine damage to his back.
Kris is stuck in Peru until medical professionals deem him fit enough to travel from his current location. He is being sedated until doctors feel comfortable for him to move without causing further spine damage, or any other complications.Truth is, we don’t know much beyond that. But we do know that Kris is stuck, and in very bad condition. So please, from the bottom of our hearts, help us get Kris back to us, and most important, to his father and surrounding family.
