Help Steve Beat Cancer
Donation protected
After several months of being sick fighting off one infection after the other Steve was finally diagnosed with head and neck cancer in early February. Relieved to know what was making him sick and that it was treatable we set to the task of getting well. Under the care of Great doctors and Hill Country Memorial Steve has since February had 4 surgeries and is now receiving Radiation treatments and Chemotherapy.
The course of treatments have been rough but by the grace of God and the love of friends and family Steve has been doing better than anticipated and has kept his spirits high.
Unfortunately due to the treatments and surgeries Steve had to resign from his position at Fischer and Wieser. We have been able to keep up pretty well until now. After paying off deductibles and out of pocket portions of insurance at an amount just over $10,000 we are now at a point that we are just barely able to pay bills. On are part we have cut most of our expenses and have gone down to one car. We have been as frugal as we can be but still are short at the end of the month.
It is not easy for us to ask for help in this way and in many ways it is the hardest part of the whole process. But we are in a place that we must ask, and fully understand if you are not able nor wish to donate, we surely do not enjoy asking. But any and all donations will be greatly appreciated.
We love you all and have cherished your warm and loving encouragement throughout this process.
With Love,
The Sommers Family.
